Live in your imagination, not your memories. We all have a dream to live a certain way and to have a certain level of healthiness in our lives. If you can dream it, you can do it and this is undoubtedly. As with everything in life, we are all different and we all live in different ways. The key is to be who you are, accept who you are and live who you are.
Bunmi says ... I lost my eye sight at the age of 24 years old and although my doctors were unsure that I’d ever see again, I never stopped believing I would. Rather than releasing all control to them about everything, I took control where I could too. I focused all my attention day after day on seeing again and slowly my sight began to come back.
Over time, I realised that food affected how well I could or couldn’t see so I decided to take control. Alongside medication that doctors were giving me, I knew that the only natural way I could help myself, was through the foods I was eating. My medicine was now going to be my food. I could not control if and when I could see, but I could control how well I felt through the food that I ate. I needed to be positive day after day and eating and feeling healthy, helped me to be this. I’m not saying that everyday was easy, but I realised that optimising my health was absolutely crucial for me.
The easiest way for me to begin, was to go back to basics. Back to eating simple foods, home cooked and as natural as I could possibly find. It is so so important that each and everyone of us as individuals take as much control of our health as we can. We can not leave it in the hands of another person no matter who that person may be. If you need medical attention, then work with and alongside your health practitioner to make the right decisions for what is right for you. No one but you knows what is right for you and what is right for your health. Healthy foods and a healthy lifestyle will most certainly make a huge difference.
We are all born to this earth as special individuals with tremendous gifts. We are all unique and all have the ability to the make decisions to live as we choose. I choose health day after day and I work hard to be the best I can be. I live by my motto of health optimisation and this is what I would love for each and every one of you too. My healthy lifestyle is not always perfect and I can always do more, but I always make sure that I do my best with each situation that I am in. As of right now, I could weigh less, I could meditate more, I could do more for myself and I could definitely choose to eat less bread. ? However I still make sure that I live by the rule that 90% of the time, I am eating right, exercising and taking time out for me.
Without taking control, I wouldn’t be where I am now doing and being what I love. No matter what, you can do it. Start with a goal and take small steps and over time, you will get there.
