Wild rice is high in protein, magnesium and antioxidants.
Rinse well before use. Add 1 cup of wild rice to 2 cups of cold water to a saucepan. Bring to the boil and add a pinch of salt if desired. Cover and reduce to simmer for around 45-50 minutes.
